Most frequent questions and answers

The cost of using our facilities varies, depending on:

    • Cleaning as required
    • Light and power usage
    • Admin charges
    • Rental charges

 

With the exception of the rental cost, the other charges depending on the type and duration of the event and therefore a costing can only be provided upon completion of the quote request form.

Once an available date has been requested, it will be confirmed on the receipt of a 10% deposit.

 

If another request is made for the same dates and the 10% deposit has not yet been paid, the organizer will be contacted and given five days to make the deposit. If the five days pass without the 10% deposit being made, the dates will then be offered to the other party making the request.

Your sponsors are allowed branding as follows:

 

· One 10Ft. x 3 Ft. banner by the main entrance (E3)
· One 10Ft. x 3 Ft. banner by Gate G1/G2
· One 10Ft. x 3 Ft. banner by Gate G3
· One 10Ft. x 3 Ft. banner by Gate G5
· Branding on the rails of the 4 steps leading into the Grandstand.
· Branding on the columns in the concession area (Concessionaires’ signs are no to be obscured)
· Signs in and around the football field.
· 100 Ft of bunting inside the Grandstand area.
· 250 Ft of bunting in the Bleachers area (if bleachers is rented)

Note: Any additional requirement for branding must first be discussed and approved by IPL. This will, however, be at an additional cost.

Event organizers are not permitted to offer any exclusivity to sponsors of events hosted at any of our facilities as this be in conflict with sponsors of IPL’s concessionaires. 

 

Where possible and after discussions with IPL this request may be entertained.

Yes.

 

The current rate is $200.00 per vehicle to park for an event. However, event organisers have the option to prepay for the car park if they do not want their patrons to pay for parking.

 

Please note however that depending on the facility being rented, the rental fee includes a number of complimentary parking stickers for VIP’s, media, medical personnel, JCF and production crew.

Yes.

 

Event organizers have the option to rent the car park for events such as concerts, fun days etc. Please note however that the event organizer will be required to install portable toilets and washing stations.

 

IPL has several concessionaires and vendors who are the only entities authorised to sell food and drink items within the area of the stands and other areas designated for vending. 

 

Event organisers may however request that sponsors be allowed to hand out sample food items or drinks. This, however, must first be approved by IPL. 

The following approvals must be submitted to IPL no later than 48 hours before the event date:

‐          A signed copy of the contracts prepared by Independence Park Ltd.

‐          Signed Indemnity Form (Provided by Independence Park Ltd.)

‐          Signed ODPEM Approval Form. (if available IPL may provide a copy of this form)
